| Description | "The altered book is an art form in which artists recycle or transform existing books into new works of art. The book, an artwork in itself, becomes a canvas for new ideas and images." As we explore Bev Brazelton's book "Altered Books Workshop" weekly, we will delve into techniques used in altered books. Week One: Introduction, tools & materials, selecting a book, themes, general process (hand-out is available if you do not attend week one) Class fee includes 1 book(first visit only), glue, paints, scissors, exacto knife, clamps, paint brushes and a selection of images.
