| Description | Textured Lentil Silver Metal Clay Beads Instructor: Pat Evans, Senior Art Clay Instructor Skill Level: All Levels Learn how to create pure silver hollow beads with amazing silver metal clay. You’ll learn how to roll and emboss the clay for texture, how to dry over forms for shape, and finally some dry assembly techniques. (Art Clay Silver is recycled silver suspended in a non-toxic binder. You shape it like clay, and then fire away the binder. What’s left is 99.9 per cent pure silver—more pure silver than sterling!) This workshop is great for beginners and up. Workshop Fee: $60, all tools, equipment, shared materials, and kiln firing provided. . Students will need to purchase 20 grams of Art Clay Silver. Cost fluctuates with the silver market, but will be approximately $40. |
