| Description | Make a purse to match your fashion style with this season’s latest color trends. In this class you will fashion a simple to sew bag that fits an interchangeable purse frame. This is a purse that can easily be styled to match your personality with coordinated fabric choices. Options for embellishments will be shared as well. Beginning sewers are welcome.
Class supplies required: Fabric with matching thread, sewing machine(3 available in the studio), fabric scissors, straight pins. Handy but not essential: a rotary cutter, cutting mat and a fabric marking pen or pencil. An optional fabric kit is available for $12.00, Click on the "More Info Link" below to view available fabric kits or the yardage requirements if you wish to bring your own fabric. Don’t have a sewing machine? 3 will be available for your use by advance reservation. Contact Andrea at aworkofheart@gmail.com to reserve a sewing machine. Class Fee includes: a metal purse frame in antique gold or silver-tone, interfacing fabric, and the bottom base support. |
