Forged Metal Journal with Jacqueline Sullivan
Date 3/04/2018
Time 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location 176 Race Street
City San Jose
Description This great journal looks like it is forged from a piece of old steel, but in reality it is created using a fairly simple texturing technique done with metal tape, textural elements and acrylic paint. This technique could be applied to many book forms, but in this class we will make a traveler’s journal, where you can insert booklets, folders, etc. that are available from several journal companies. We will also design a couple of folder and booklet inserts for our journal, using a simple watercolor technique, making this personal journal a work of art that is with you always.
