Alexis Grenzer
Alexis is new to the world of teaching but has been enjoying a life of creativity since she was little. It all began with Mom's stinky markers, paper clips and rubberbands. Years later, she found herself making jewelry, but never felt fully satisfied with the pieces she created. She discovered a Simply Swank starter kit for soldering and was instantly inspired to take her skills to a whole new level. After mastering soldering, she began to play with PMC and polymer clays. It's been a very rewarding journey and she is very happy making new one-of-a-kind pieces of her very own.
In addition to Alexis' love of hand made arts and crafts, she has a huge love for animals. When she is not at home, crafting away, she can be found at Humane Society Silicon Valley's Animal Community Center, where she has been working for the last six years. It's clear that this work is very important to her and not surprisingly her love of animals often finds its way into her art pieces.
She is very excited for the opportunity to share what she has learned and to encourage others to embrace their inner creativity!
