Mary Lou pushes the limits of fiber through personal curiosity and discovery. She explores the myriad
of possibilities using knit and purl stitches, experimenting with color, creating texture and sculpture. Satisfying her fascination with the unpredictable, Mary Lou explores the techniques of wet and dry felting using yarn and wool roving.

Mary Lou picked up her first pair of knitting needles and crochet hook when she was eight years old. She has taught knitting classes and polymer clay classes throughout Northern California. She studied Art
History at the University of California, Berkeley.
