Participants will explore the art of gelli printing, experimenting with various techniques to create unique, multi-layered prints. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a collection of prints and the confidence to continue experimenting on their own. We'll explore texture and detail, adding fine details with mark-making tools. Participants will experiment with layering techniques to create complex prints. Supplies provided in class:
Gelli plates, brayers, acrylic paints, stencils, mark-making tools, and papers.

Optional Supply List: Bring from home any special colors of watercolor or acrylic paints you may wish to use (ie. metallics, fluorescents, etc...) if specific colors or finishes important to you. Additionally, consider using natural objects (e.g., leaves, feathers) for printing.
