End of year has historically be a blur of activity, obligation and oh so much noise. In an effort to change this narrative in 2020 I asked myself how I would LIKE to finish the year, what would I like to spend my time doing? The answer was to create. That year and every year since I end the year I focus on creating Intentionally every day for the final days of December. For this course I released a short video(under 22 minutes) of my process daily. This year I focused on Mixed Media prompts/techniques on canvas, wood and paper. 7 lessons on each surface with one final lesson mashing it all up!
Here is an idea of what the first 7 days produced.
I'm to thrilled with how they all came out. I tend to love working on primed canvas that is not yet stretched. I find it quite useful to make into other things.
Many of the pieces I did just that. As a matter of fact one of the lessons I got so excited to make something from the canvas I forgot to take a picture before I cut it up and turned it into the cutest ever book corner markers.
