We will work on a (roughly) 30"x30" piece of primed canvas as I guide you through a way to fearlessly approace a large white space. You will leave with an abstract mixed media piece ready for you to stretch, frame, tear up & stitch, hang or simply admire. I love working on a canvas like this over a period of time and our objective is to focus on process over finished product.

Andrea will show examples of different things she has created from this sort of canvas.

Supplies provided in class:
30x30 primed canvas (unstretched)
Brushes, paints, aprons
Access to mixed media supplies, gesso, matte medium, papers, tissues, tapes, acrylics, inks, mark making tools, book binding tools/supplies.

Optional Supply List: Bring from home any special colors of acrylic paints or inks you may wish to use (ie. metalics, florescents, etc...) if specific colors or finishes important to you.
