Create your own journal from bits and pieces. Scrap papers, envelopes, unfinished pieces of artwork, greeting cards, scrapbook paper, watercolor paper, you name it...this is the journal for you to use it all up. You can determine the size of your journal from bitty to full sized, this technique will accomodate. I will take you through the process of selecting papers, preparing them and then binding your pages together into "signatures" and your signatures together into a book block. It is easy and you'll be hooked! Supplies I use: Bone Folder Awl Binding needle Waxed linen binding cord Strips of sticky backed canvas or gaffers tape (fabric tape) Scissors Ruler Pencil 5 binder clips OPTIONAL: Washi Tape or other decorative tape You will also need a stack of papers for your journal 30-45 pieces (in this session I used MANY more...65 to be exact) and some sort of thick catalog or old phone book to use as a cradle for piercing the holes
