Create your own journal from bits and pieces. Scrap papers, envelopes, unfinished pieces of artwork, greeting cards, scrapbook paper, watercolor paper, you name it...this is the journal for you to use it all up. You can determine the size of your journal from bitty to full sized, this technique will accomodate. I will take you through the process of selecting papers, preparing them and then binding your pages together into "signatures" and your signatures together into a book block. It is easy and you'll be hooked! Supplies I use: Bone Folder Awl Binding needle Waxed linen binding cord Seam binding or strips of muslin Scissors Ruler Pencil OPTIONAL: Washi Tape or other decorative tape You will also need a stack of papers for your journal 15-25 pieces and some sort of thick catalog or old phone book to use as a cradle for piercing the holes
